grey sweater

just look through last few posts, and noticed i'm wearing the same grey sweater in almost all of my post. i have more clothes than this, this sweater is just the most comfortable one to wear after a long, painful day at work!

following with the new year's idea.
i tried another look for new year's eve using the make up forever metal powder in 4.
this was the makeup that i used for my halloween costume this year.


really need a better camera, but quitting my job does not allow for any unneeded expenses.
i have four more days!!! and my makeup certificate course starts in a week, cannot wait!

new year's eve

i've been invited to a 1940s speakeasy new year's eve party.
and costumes are mandatory.
here's the look.....

bf is coming over, no time for practice.
this is me every day

i tend to run late, so its makeup in the bathroom of my office.
my routine is:
Make Up Forever HD primer #2
Sephora hydrating foundation in R20
-- i'm as pale as they come, most foundation is too dark for me, so i mix it with my moisturizer.
there is a Make Up Forever foundation that is almost a perfect match to my skin tone, but it is never available. HD shade 110 porcelain with pink undertones.
-- jemma kidd's masterclass book helped me understand my skin tone and what would look best for my coloring
Benefit browzings in light, i use the wax for my eyebrows and the powder as an eyeshadow for the crease.

Benefit blush in hoola as a contour. i am genetically predisposed to jowls, but a contouring under the chin can work miracles

used the urban decay back palette.
tried the over drawn lips, just don't think they suit the shape of my lips. all my lip pencils are on the soft side, it might work better with a harder pencil.

(tried to make the same face as pam... but it was impossible to not look like a starving person eating there own lips)

bought two matte lipsticks today, trying to figure out the best way to wear them.

two look monday

took the day off from work.

first was a 20s makeup, inspired by clara bow.

decided to use the natural shape of my eyebrows, instead of the straight version popular in the 20s.

thought it would update the look.

the jury is still out on the outcome.

my good friends are in town this weekend, and wanted to try a more wearable look.

happy with the outcome.

used l'oreal hip cream eyeliner in 960 eggplant, a gold tart eyeshadow (not sure of the number) and my current favorite illamsqua intense lipgloss in pentulant.

enrolled in a makeup certificate program.

with working sucking so much this might be the best move.

today's look is a 60s audrey hepburn.

used the metallic silver and a matte black eyeshadow from the elf 100 eyeshadow palette.

big fan of e(yes) l(ips) and f(ace). all their products have amazing payoff for the next to nothing price point, all under $10.
